Students of the University took part in the science and technology festival "Science Fest"

This year there was a large-scale exhibition "Science Fest", during which young scientists were able to demonstrate their inventions and the principles of their work, and fans of IT-technologies independently tested the latest developments from the world of science. Students of the Department of Multimedia Directing took an active part in the event as participants and volunteers of the exhibition.

The team of our university became a member of the Russian delegation at the International Forum "Children of the Commonwealth-2017"

From June 25 to July 6, a traditional large-scale event was held at Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan - the International Cultural and Educational Forum of the CIS countries "Children of the Commonwealth". For the first time in the delegation of Russia, the team of the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television took part.

St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television and Hainan Normal University have strengthened cooperation

June 27 rector of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television, Professor Alexander D. Evmenov and rector of Hainan Normal University, Professor Lin Qiang signed an agreement on cooperation. The visit of the Chinese delegation and the signing of the document are an important result of the international partnership launched in the summer of 2016.

A graduate of our University received the main prize at the International Sci-On Festival

In the American city of Reno (Nevada) for the second time there was a festival of science fiction Sci-On, in which young animators from all over the world took part. A graduate of the St.Petersburg State University of Film and Television Maria Konopatova received the main prize in the nomination "Best Student Animation Film" for the cartoon "The Power of Attraction".

Students of the Chair of Journalism visited the plenary session of the VIII Nevsky International Ecological Congress, held in the Duma Hall of the Tauride Palace. More than 2 thousand people from 36 countries took part in the events of the congress.

The "Fourth St. Petersburg Ball on Wheels" was held in St. Petersburg with the support of the University

The grand opening of the "Fourth Saint-Petersburg Ball on Wheels" took place in the Summer Garden. In the evening, children with special needs became participants of a grand holiday in the restaurant "Amrots". Representatives of the University of Film and Television have traditionally taken an active part in organizing and conducting this large-scale and unusual event.

IV International festival "INTONATIONS-2017" named the winners

On April 27, the final of the IV International Festival of sound engineering works "INTONATIONS-2017" took place in the cinema hall of the University. The jury was named winners, marked with prizes, diplomas and memorable gifts. A real gift for the participants and guests of the festival was a master class by the famous Russian composer, Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Knaifel.

On April 27, the Department of Journalism of our University held the International Student Ecological Forum "Actual Problems of Ecology in Russia and the World", dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia. The boundless force of art, the sounding word helped the forum participants express their attitude to environmental problems.

The University took part in the action of the World Youth Festival

Very soon Russia will host the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students. On April 22, the representatives of St.Petersburg State University of Film and Television took part in the large-scale action "Six months before the festival". Directly opposite the main building on Pravda Street was a festive concert. At the same time in front of the building of the University in Bucharest street was a dance flashmob.

The student television appeared in the University

On April 12 took place the premiere of the first release of student television of our University "# onTHERIGHT". Broadcasting was carried out on the internal cable network of the University. Also, the pilot release was shown on a large screen in the digital cinema laboratory. The audience gathered students studying in the areas of "Television" and "Journalism", teachers of the same chair, staff of the Faculty of Management and Media Communications and Information Service of the University.

On Saturday, March 25, a large-scale environmental action "Earth Hour" was held. Within the framework of the event, the main city attractions refused to highlight for 60 minutes.
